Arrive on time and bring your favorite music.

Practice posing in front of a mirror, this gives you a better
understanding of how to achieve a attractive pose with your
body and facial expressions.   Let the Photographer guide you
comfortable and confident, thus the shoot will go smoothly.
You can get ideas for posing from magazines.   Pose the
same way the models are, but try to improve the pose.

Clothes:  Simple Solid colors,  Black is good, Yellow and
green are not suggested.  They tend to adversely affect skin
color. Logos and text is very distracting.   V-necks elongate the
face.   Clothes should be ironed  and should be new or just like
new.   Dark Clothes bring more attention to your face and eyes
and other facial features.   If you are overweight long or 3/4
sleeved dark clothing helps to give you a slimmer look.   It is
always important to be comfortable  in your clothes.   If you feel
great in your clothes, you will look great too.   With babies less
is more.   Babies who are not able to sit up yet look the best in
no clothing and either a diaper or bare bottom.   At such a
young age clothing tend to look frumpy and uncomfortable.   It
also distracts from what really  is important in the picture.   For
two or more subjects it is best to coordinate colors and styles.
This gives the picture unity.   Bare feet look the best and it
works for everyone.

Accessories:  Bring anything cool and original that shows
your personality.

Makeup, Hair & etc:   If you are doing your own makeup and
hair,  have it done before you arrive.   Apply makeup like you
are going out for the evening.   Keep makeup and hair natural
looking.  Unless of course dramatic hair and/or makeup is part
of  your personality.   Some salons offer professional hair and
makeup for a reasonable price. Don't try a new hair style close
to your photo shoot.   You want to have time to get comfortable
with your hair style.

You want to take care of hands and feet.  You could get a
manicure and/or pedicure but,  toe and fingernails look  best
when they are natural.

Use lots of moisturizer on hands, feet and body.   You could
also exfoliate with a loofah to remove dead cells and give your
skin a healthy glow.   Drink lots of water!  Water is a magic
wand for skin!  A daily dose of vitamins C and E also help to
keep acne in check.   This works for most but not all.   Talk to
your doctor about other alternatives.

Tanning the day before a shoot is not recommended.   I
suggest trying the new sunless tanning mist booth.  You should
stop tanning at least three days before and two if you use a
sunless tanning method.   You don't want to look orange, red or
peeled for you pictures.

Don't forget the lips!   I recommend Vaseline, because it is
colorless and keeps lip soft longer and it adds a soft shine.
You don't want to have a close up with dry cracked lips.   If you
already have dry cracked lips start using it asap.
